I would like to tell you about Rocky. He was my Belgian Shepherd, Terveuren dog. I bought him in Reading near London. He was even invited to his one year birthday party, where he celebrated with his nine brothers and sisters. He died many years ago, but he was my best friend. We walked the parks of London together, and he often accompanied me to work. He had a very loving nature, and whenever he was parted from me he would lie down on the carpet next to my bed, and relax until I returned home. We went to many dog training groups, and famous dog trainers together, including the legendary John Rogerson, and both Rocky and myself learned a lot about how to communicate with each other. He came with me when I returned to Israel, to take charge of an Israeli army dog unit.
During those days  he participated in many different activities including many training displays to the general public. He was the first and maybe only Terveuren to pass the grueling Israeli police bomb sniffer dog exam. He will always be missed, and I shall never ever forget this special Belgian shepherd dog.
