Everybody in Modiin seems to be working very hard  making their homes clean and kosher for Pesach. What a shame that so many Modiin residents allow their dogs to dirty Modiin's beautiful streets and parks. Many Modiin dog owners want to have immaculately clean homes, but do not pick up their dogs mess, thus turning this beautiful city into one large dog toilet. This is not just a problem of Modiin, every city in Israel is the same, but Modiin is my town and I am especially aggravated by those who are so irresponsible. Not only is dogs mess smelly and dirty, it can also be a dangerous health threat to humans, especially children. Toxicara canis, the round worm can cause blindness, this is just one example of a dog mess health hazard. I hope that every Modiin dog owner who obviously cares about dogs, and if he /she is reading this blog, and I am sure that is the case, please always pick up your dog's mess and make sure that our beautiful and green city remains clean, a fine example to every other town in Israel.

Happy and clean Passover
